- How to build trust and connection in your community

- The 2 ways to start making money in your business now

Is this the right  time to start an online business?

The truth is, there’s no RIGTH time. People are always waiting until they’re ready, but honestly there is no such thing. There’s that quote - “The best time to start was 5 years ago, the next best time in now.”

I know things are uncertain right now, but no one can predict the future. Things can still be uncertain three to six months from now, or next year or in 3 years. You can keep trying to time things but then you’ll just be stuck, not taking action or moving forward.

When people say they’re stuck, they’re not really stuck. You just don’t want to make a decision. If you’re feeling stuck, it means that...

How to Create Content During a Crisis

the spark show Mar 23, 2020

Welcome to The Spark Show. In this episode, we are sharing a recent workshop where we discussed how to navigate content creation during this global crisis of COVID-19.

We've been hearing from a lot of our students that they just aren't sure what to post, what they should stay away from, and if talking about what is going on is right or wrong.

DO'S and DON'TS for posting during COVID-19:

DO address the current situation

DON'T pretend like nothing is happening

DO create with compassion and sensitivity

DON'T ignore your audience's concerns

Is it ok to be selling my products and services during COVID-19?

We believe that if you have an online business, you absolutely should still be selling. HOWEVER, you definitely want to be mindful of your messaging. Right now, we aren't heavily advertising our courses, but we are still showing up to serve our students. If someone finds us and wants to work with us? Great.

Regardless of what is going on: you are still a business and...

5 Influencers Mistakes to Avoid

the spark show Mar 09, 2020

Welcome to The Spark Show! In this episode, I’ll be sharing with you the 5 influencer mistakes to avoid that I’ve seen a lot of people make and that I’ve made myself.

If this is the first time we’re connecting, my name is Gwen Lane and I help influencers build their brand, grow their following, and monetize their influence. I have a 12-year digital marketing background and have been monetizing as an influencer for 5 years and I love sharing what I’ve learned while building a multiple six-figure business as a travel and lifestyle influencer.

If you were able to help one thousand people, would that be significant for you? But then when...
